Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

This full bodied, integrated wine has intense bouquet of black currant, oak, vanilla, coconut and pencil lead. The tannins are refined to tannic (decant for 30 min) and the finish was long, smooth and silky. This wine can easily age gracefully for more than 10 years, yet is a definite treat now. Even though the alcohol is 15.8% (watch out, it gets you), somehow the wine is capable of pulling it off and not seeming alcoholic. My impression: DIVINE, 94 pts - would highly recommend buying if there were any left. Tasted June/10.

Natalie's Review

Edward Sellers Vertigo 2005, California, United States: Vintages Wine Panel: Part of Bonterra’s philosophy is to “honor the land by farming organically, creating rich soils providing healthy vines an opportunity to deliver wonderfully flavored fruit.” The grapes for their Zinfandel were sourced in Mendocino and the Sierra Foothills. This Zin possesses succulent flavours of raspberry and blueberry with a touch of cedar and pepper. This wine contains 9 mg/L of free sulphur. My note: Amarone-cherry-liqueur aromas of concentration! Full-bodied and tasty. Drink: 2008-2010. 77875 15.80% D 750 mL  $39.95 Score: 90/100. October 25, 2008  Full Review

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
