Love the Benchmark series 2023 Gewürztraminer from Township 7 Vineyards & Winery. Beautifully silky with a rich mouth feel, it is trim and lithe with not a bit of fat on it. Fresh on the nose and palate, there is a lovely balance on this Gew fresh with aromas of lychee and rose petals, orange blossom with a touch of ginger spice and a citrus bite on a long and elegant orange blossom note, zesty and crisp on an off-dry finish. Tasted June 2026.

Winemaker's Notes: " Crafted from hand-picked fruit sourced from the esteemed Wheelers Family Vineyard on the Naramata Bench, this vintage was fermented half in neutral French oak barrels and half in stainless steel. The stainless-steel fermentation, maintained at a cool 14° C over two months, preserved the wine’s vibrant aromatics, while the warmer barrel fermentation contributed depth and richness to the palate. To further enhance complexity and balance, batonnage was carried out to increase lees contact in the barrel-fermented portion."
