The nose is generous and inviting, with dark plum, blackberry, roasted herbs, and a hint of cracked black pepper that speaks directly to the wild scrubland surrounding the estate. On the palate it is full bodied and warmly structured, with ripe, rounded tannins, layers of dark fruit, and an earthy, garrigue-tinged complexity that deepens toward a long, spiced finish. It is a wine that captures the heat and personality of southern France with confidence and polish. Fascinating fact: The Grenache Noir grape, central to many Languedoc reds, is believed to have originated in the Aragon region of Spain before spreading across the Mediterranean, making it one of the most widely planted red grape varieties in the world.
