Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Nice and refreshing, this is a lower alcohol wine (7%) and it has a nice balance of flavour, body, and acidity. Aromas of pink grapefruit and a hint of field strawberry. On the palate the wine is crisp, dry with just a touch of sweetness, and a nice balance of citrus and berry notes. Enjoy with smoked salmon benedict at brunch.

Natalie's Review

Kim Crawford Illuminate Rosé 2023, New Zealand: Kim Crawford Illuminate Rosé is a lively and refreshing rosé that opens with bright aromas of wild strawberry, watermelon and pink grapefruit, complemented by delicate floral notes. The palate is light to medium-bodied, dry and crisp, with juicy red fruit and vibrant acidity carrying through to a clean, refreshing finish at 12.5% alcohol. Serve it well-chilled to highlight its perfumed fruit and lively sparkle. Fascinating fact: The Illuminate series focuses on showcasing pure fruit expression from select Marlborough vineyards, capturing the essence of summer in every bottle without unnecessary oak influence. Pair it with grilled salmon with lemon and dill, where the wine’s bright fruit lifts the dish beautifully. Or enjoy it with a fresh berry and feta salad, where its crisp acidity and sweetness balance creamy and tangy flavours. Drink: 2025-2026. 24084 7% D 750 mL  $21.95 Score: 90/100. There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
