Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Refreshing and crisp, lovely bright lemon-lime notes with hints of stony minerality. Light bodied, with mouthwatering acidity, vibrant citrus, and a clean finish. Enjoy with any light seafood or white fish dishes with a squeeze of lemon.
Craig Haynes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Hailing from an appellation in northern Italy, this Pinot Grigio goes all in on appealingly mild-mannered expressions of fresh green apple, lime, and melon plus thin threads of minerality magic.

For me, the mouth feel appeal is the simultaneous tilt toward lushness and the lean into refreshing, crisp acidity. Delightful.

Chill it down (no room temperature service, please) and enjoy the experience. Match with feta and goat cheese.

Natalie's Review

Mezzacorona Pinot Grigio 2023, Alto Adige, Trentino, Italy: Mezzacorona Pinot Grigio is a crisp and inviting white with bright aromas of lemon zest, green apple, and pear, accented by subtle floral notes. The palate is light-bodied, dry, and refreshing, with lively acidity and 12 percent alcohol creating a clean, thirst-quenching finish. Serve it well-chilled to bring out its pure fruit and vibrant energy. Pair it with grilled shrimp tacos, where the wine’s citrus and crisp texture enhance the seafood’s flavours, or enjoy it with a simple arugula salad topped with shaved Parmesan and lemon, where its bright acidity balances the peppery greens and salty cheese. For a taste of the Italian Alps, try it with freshly grilled fish seasoned with a squeeze of lemon, on a bed of mixed field greens with a dash of olive oil. The wine’s refreshing acidity cuts through the richness of the fish while the citrusy notes complement the salad’s tang. Fascinating fact: Mezzacorona has been crafting Pinot Grigio in the alpine foothills of northern Italy since the early 1900s. The cool, elevated vineyards help preserve natural acidity and clarity of fruit, producing a wine as crisp and fresh as the mountain air and crystalline lakes that irrigate it. This winery is actually a cooperative of 1,600 families who live there and cultivate the vines. They have not only reduced their use of synthetic chemicals, but also pioneered a fascinating technique called sexual confusion, which targets insects that feed on grapes. By introducing natural substances into the vineyard, the winery signals to these predatory critters that this bar is closed, keeping them away from the grapes. Mezzacorona has also been a major supporter of the arts, including film festivals, dance companies, and museums. Drink: 2024-2026. 302380 12.50% D 750 mL  $15.00 Score: 91/100.
