This is a lower alcohol Sauvignon Blanc, clocking in at a respectable 7%. This has a lovely balance of citrus and tropical fruit, with underlying gooseberry and green herbal hints. This wine is slightly softer than a typical NZ Savvy B, but in a nice way. Palatable, refreshing, and versatile, enjoy this with salads, egg dishes, or white fish.

Kim Crawford Illuminate Sauvignon Blanc 2022, New Zealand: Kim Crawford Illuminate Sauvignon Blanc is a bright and expressive white that bursts with lifted aromas of passionfruit, gooseberry and citrus zest, followed by hints of tropical lime and fresh herbs. The palate is medium-bodied, dry and crisp, with vibrant acidity and juicy fruit driving a clean, refreshing finish at 13% alcohol. Serve it well-chilled to let its pure fruit and zesty energy shine. Fascinating fact: The Illuminate series focuses on capturing fruit at optimal ripeness from select Marlborough vineyards, giving this Sauvignon Blanc an inviting intensity without losing the region’s signature freshness. Pair it with citrus-marinated grilled shrimp, where the wine’s zingy acidity enhances the seafood’s sweetness.
