Boya Sauvignon Blanc 2022, Coast Zone, Leyda Valley D.O., Chile: From the Coast Zone, Leyda Valley wine region, Boya 2022 Sauvignon Blanc is crafted by Garcés Silva. Produced from sustainably grown grapes sourced from 15-year-old vines in the Boya Vineyards where the influence of the Pacific Ocean's moderating and cooling breezes bring cooler temperatures giving the grapes time to slowly ripen and fully develop. These cooling breezes also bring a salty tang to the grapes. Look for flinty, briny and herbal aromas on the nose along with fresh apple, gooseberry, citrus zest, guava, pineapple and briny mineral flavours vibrant and creamy on the palate. The wine was fermented in stainless steel and spent six months resting on the lees. So fresh and good now. Drink: 2022-2023. 389726 12.50% XD 750 mL $17.95 Score: 89/100.
