"The Bub" is so named after the winery co-founders' daughter, Alison, who was also known as The Bub, Bubster or Alibubba as a youngster.

The Bub 2017 is produced from organically grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes (55%/45%) sourced from vineyards in the Oliver and Summerland districts, Okanagan, British Columbia. An elegant, bone-dry, crisp, frothy and delightful sparkler made in the traditional method with soft citrus, apple and toasty notes on a lively, fine perlage with an amazingly long and zesty finish. So good paired with skillet lobster mac and cheese which we topped with basil leaf lettuce and the last of the cherry tomatoes from the garden - a match made in gastronomical heaven that sliced thru the richness of this dish with its medium-plus acidity. Delish! Tasted October 2022.
