Deborah Podurgiel rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Located in the Lillooet Valley, along the rugged Gold Rush Trail with its breathtaking vistas, Fort Berens Estate Winery was forged on this road less travelled. Currently planted in 38 acres of wine grapes with award-winning wines unique to this wine region’s terroir.

While the terrain is rugged, the wines are anything but. The medium-bodied 2021 Small Lot Dry Riesling is indeed dry at less than 5 g/l residual sugar with eye-winking acidity to match. The grapes for the Small Lot Dry Riesling were treated to a long and very cool (11 Celsius) fermentation. It's so fresh you have tell it to behave *(*

Clean and crisp with medium-intensity aromas and flavours of white florals, gardenia, fresh green and yellow apple, mandarin zest, lemon cream, white pepper spice and flecks of flinty minerality finishing long with reverberating acidity replayed on the mid-palate. A dry, racy Riesling to drink now or hold to 2024, made to tackle rich foods like a traditional Swiss cheese fondue or turkey dinner. Tasted July 2022.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
