Matt Steeves rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

The 2019 Le Grand Clos Chardonnay showcases the greatness winemaker Thomas Bachelder is producing from one of Niagara's (eventual) Grand Cru recognized vineyards. Complex bouquet with delicious orchard fruit, baked apple, perfumed spring blossoms, lanolin, and subtle sweet spices. Full bodied and beautifully textured, with zesty citrus, ripe orchard fruit, and toasty lees persisting on the long finish. A great example of what exceptional terroir and skilled winemaking can achieve when they overlap. 2019 is the third vintage of Le Grand Clos since its revival, and each vintage is proving to be stellar, indicative of the great provenance and talent behind this wine! Enjoy over the next decade and highly recommend starting a vertical given the past three vintages and indications of more greatness to come. Tasted January 2022. 94 points. Natalie's Review

Le Clos Jordanne Le Grand Clos Chardonnay 2019, Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Escarpment, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: From Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Escarpment wine region, Le Clos Jordanne, Le Grand Clos 2019 Chardonnay is fresh and floral on the nose, with ripe honeyed pear, apple, lemon zest, toasted almond, brioche, subtle oak spice with flinty mineral undertones all balanced with pin point acidity, finishing long and creamy on the palate. Produced under the direction of Thomas Bachelder, a very expressive and impressive "Grand Cru" Chard with grapes sourced from the western side of the Le Clos Jordanne vineyard on the Jordan Bench.
