Craig Haynes rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

From New Zealand’s Wairau Valley, this reserve level Sauvignon Blanc from Villa Maria is zippy, light bodied and delicious. Big beats of passion fruit, cut grass, and lemon zest headline all aspects of this adventure.

I could certainly serve this with seafood or a citrusy salad, but I prefer to enjoy this one all on its own.

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Dry and crisp with ample gooseberry, kiwi and lemon zest notes. Mouthwatering with light granite minerality and zesty acidity with lingering dry citrus fruit and fresh herbs on the palate. A great pairing with roasted rosemary chicken. - tasted September 2022
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Fresh and lively, with aromas of orange, tinned asparagus, creamy lemon and green herbal hints. Light bodied, smooth but with some bright acidity, especially on the palate. Citrus notes are creamy and rich and there is a dry, mineral finish tinged with green herbaceous notes. Enjoy with spring pea risotto.
