89/100 with the following review:
Dark ruby in colour with aromas of raspberry, plum, strawberry and eucalyptus. It is full bodied with smooth tannins and well balanced acidity. On the plate there are flavours of black cherry, plum and black pepper. This will pair well with grilled red meats, a meaty pasta dish or pizza. Tasted on January 7, 2022.

The 2019 Sandhill Cabernet Franc wants to be opened at a BBQ. From British Columbia, Canada’s Okanagan Valley appellation, this creation’s attractive aromatic style suggests subtle red cherries scents teamed up with sweet cassis plus smoke and spice. Its flavours headliners are berries and cherries – red and ripe – as well as some noticeable herbaceous notes. A ready partner for grilled meats, this Sandhill feels medium bodied, super dry with a silky tannin structure and attention seeking acidity. Enjoy.

89/100 with the following review:
Deep dark purple coloured wine! Youthful, with medium aromas of vanilla, dark cherry, candied fruit, chocolate, cedar, violet and perhaps a hint of lilac, with some nice spice. Dry, medium plus acidity, medium tannins, and medium body with a surprisingly high alcohol level at 14.7%. An all around good quality wine that is very drinkable now. Sandhill suggested mature 3 year old cheddar as an acceptable match; absolutely brilliant!
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as

The 2019 Cabernet Franc, made by Sandhill, offers aromas of black cherry, plum, black pepper, cocoa and sweet tobacco. Full body, with grippy but delicious tannins, and well layered acidity, this solid wine will pair exquisitely with red meat or on its own. Palate: red plum, black currant, dried herbes, black pepper, cigar and coffee. Enjoy!

A pretty dark ruby/garnet colour. Nose is pronounced with aromas of cedar, ripe wild cherry and eucalyptus. Dry, medium high tannins. Flavours of sour cherry, white pepper and black plum. Balanced acidity and fruit with a medium finish.

Opaque yet brilliant garnet in the glass, enticing aromas of fig, black currant, cedar and eucalyptus transform into a spicy black cherry flavoured finish. Full bodied, with vibrantly wonderful tannin and acidity, making this a perfect pairing to hearty meat dishes.

Colour: Ruby
Nose: Plum and ripe strawberry notes with menthol, cedar, sweet tobacco, milk chocolate, and vanilla bean.
Palate: Medium bodied with velvet tannins and balanced acidity. Notes of plum with a lingering dark roasted espresso finish.
