L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This Haut Cotes du Roussillon blend is a fabulous find! Our group thought it shared many of the best characteristics of a dry German Riesling. Great care was taken harvesting the grapes and in winemaking to preserve the aromas and freshness of the grapes. A pale lemon green colour, dry, medium acid, lighter bodied and a very pronounced nose of grapefruit, which was sweet, not bitter, smoke, mineral, sweeter lemon, waxy note reminiscient of a Riesling and a nice floral note. The grapefruit and lemon notes carried over to the palate along with the freshness and mineral notes. Very good with goat Brie and Beemster goat cheese.
This was part of a private group tasting of 6 wines Dec 10, 2021 with a small group of 6. A wonderful tasting with a nice range of cheeses and meats to try with all. All of these wines truly deserved a very good rating.

Natalie's Review

M. Chapoutier Les Vignes de Bila-Haut Côtes du Roussillon Blanc 2020, Côtes du Roussillon, Midi A.P., France: From the Côtes Du Roussillon, Midi wine region, Les Vignes de Bila-Haut 2020 is amazing value under $16. Produced by M. Chapoutier, the wine is a dry, rich and full-bodied white wine blend of Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris and Macabeu from a selection of vines planted in limestone and clay soils, as well as from a parcel with later-ripening vines planted in granitic soils at higher altitudes. Dry, smooth and rich with ripe stone fruit, soft orange, lime zest, pepper, anise and mineral flavours on the palate balanced with lip-smacking, food-friendly acidity. Chill and enjoy with seafood Alfredo. Drink: 2021-2024. 485656 13.50% XD 750 mL  $15.95 Score: 91/100. December 18, 2021 Best Value White Wine. Scrumptious Seafood Wine  Full Review
