Trent Mayers rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Most people would raise an eyebrow if you suggested wine from Mexico, but you shouldn’t if it is from the cooler Baja region. The moderate climate is perfect for grape growing and this one is sourced from old vines in the region. Deeply coloured and full bodies with notes of black plum, black currant, coconut, vanilla, cigar box, and prune, this red is made to stand up to flavourful food. Serve it with beef tacos or chicken mole, and fine with grilled meats as well.

Paula Bernardino rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This was my weekend wine pick: a red wine from the Baja California peninsula in Mexico I found at the SAQ. This was a happy delicious surprise. Purple colour in the glass with aromas and flavours of blackberry jam and a hint of pepper and vanilla with a smooth velvety finish. Paired well with a selection of meat tacos. 14% alcohol. Fun creative label. 1,8 g/L sugar level.

Their 2018 Petit Sirah is great value under $15 and the wine is robust, dark and rich with black currant, black plum, smoked meat and cedar spice flavours vibrant on the palate.
