Craig Haynes rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

There’s a whole lot of goodness going on in this bottle.

In my glass, this Riesling is elegant, off dry and shares delicious expressions of peach, tropical fruit, mature yellow pear from its bottle opening to its multi-minute finish.

From Ontario’s Twenty Mile Bench appellation, this creation feels velvety, tilts to light bodied, and features bright acidity with a capital B. May I have another glass to enjoy, please?

I’ll serve this with shell fish as well as hot and spicy meals (because sweet is a nice match for heat.)

Natalie's Review

Charles Baker Riesling 2019, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: From the Niagara Peninsula, Charles Baker 2019 Riesling is a rich and juicy mouthful of ripe peach, apricot, tropical fruit, petrol and soft orange zest flavours on the palate. Softly sweet with bright acidity, enjoy this Riesling chilled on its own or pour with a smoked roast of pork and peach compote. Drink: 2022-2026. 20373 10.20% M 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 94/100. Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
