Paula Bernardino rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This was my weekend wine pick: a great full bodied red from Croatia. Deep violet colour in the glass. Aromas and flavours of dark cherries with a hint of dark chocolate. Paired well with steak and fries. Classy label. 13% alcohol. Available at the LCBO (LCBO code: 185156) at $29.75
Craig Haynes rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Eye catching bright ruby red with purple hues. Subtle but beautiful red fruit aromas – especially cherry and strawberry – emerged from my glass and were followed by a delicious medium bodied palate that showcased a red fruit core framed with hints of earthiness and cracked peppercorns. Enjoy.

Jane Staples rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A fullbodied hearty dry red wine from Croatia’s Istria region. Istria is a peninsula located in Croatia’s northeast corner, with a Mediterranean climate and cool breezes from the Alps. Grapes were introduced by the Greeks as early as the 6th century BC, making the region one of the oldest growing areas in Europe. Hand-harvested from the indigenous Teran varietal. Deep purple and intensely fragrant, with dark cherries, prunes and dark chocolate reflecting the ripe grapes from old vines.(32years) Dark and jammy fruit flavours on the palate, along with oak and smokey notes and grippy tannins. Lingering dark fruit and smoke on the finish. Decant then enjoy with grilled meat, ratatouille or hard cheeses. A great wine to enjoy with barbequed meats now or during the winter with hearty stews and roasts.
