Ghislain Lalonde rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

FBS, DL90, NM93, David Lawrason

Here's a very ripe, smooth and dense blend of 93% syrah and 7% mourvedre. It borders on overripe but the black cherry/blackberry fruit holds amid classic syrah pepper, licorice and capers. It is medium-full bodied, quite plush and loose fitting with fine tannin. Excellent length. Almost opulent. Now to 2023. Tasted August 2020
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Blended from 93% Syrah and 7% Mourvedre, with aromas of plum and dark berries with lots of smoke and cedar hints and a hint of black pepper. Full bodied on the palate with some drying tannins and mouthwatering acidity, along with some ripe berry anda smoky hints. Enjoy with grilled meats.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
