Matt Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Black Sheep Riesling from Featherstone Estate Winery shows great varietal characteristics with crisp orchard fruit, notes of petrol, and impressive mouthwatering minerality. A beautiful value-priced expression of one of Ontario's finest styles of wine, Black Sheep Riesling is both approachable and exceptionally versatile making it an entertaining and food-pairing superstar. From tangy BBQ to spicy Asian cuisine to grilled fish with a sweet fruit compote, Black Sheep is a wine I highly recommend trying this fall and throughout the year. Tasted September 2020. 90 points. Craig Haynes rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine offers plenty for Ontario Riesling enthusiasts to enjoy. Farmed without the use of insecticides, this creation comes from a family operated winery and exuded elegant stone fruit, apple and pear aromas and flavours with hints of spice and minerality. More vibrant than the nose, the medium bodied palate was satisfying and introduced a lengthy, equally satisfying stone fruit focussed finish. Enjoy.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
