This elegant pinot noir from Ontario's Prince Edward County is outstanding, showcasing smokey red fruit that supported by earthy cedar and crushed black pepper notes from nose to finish. Medium bodied and nourished with Hillier clay loam, this aromatic pinot was harvested from each of Keint-he's four vineyards: Little Creek North and South, Big Lake and Foxtail. Enjoy. Sampled at Taste Ontario! March 2020.

Keint-He strives to emulate the Burgundian approach to wine production and style and they have definitely succeeded with this wine. Bright red fruit aromas with a nice earthy and spicy note. The wine is dry with mouthwatering acidity and fine tannins. Tastes are of red fruit, earthiness, and pepper accompanied by a pleasing tang. This would be very nice with braised beef and mushrooms; heavy on the mushrooms!
