Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A full-bodied Aglianico from Campania, Italy that has blackberry aromas. It leads into a dark fruit palate that has earthiness. Well-balanced and the high tannins have me recommend further aging (several years) or several hours of decanting. Serve with pastas in a meat saurce or savoury dishes with vegetables and red meat. Tasted January 2020.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Vibrant cherry notes on the nose and palate. Good weight. Smooth drinking with very fine tannins. Serve with spaghetti and meatballs. Tasted January 2020. www.thewineloverskitchen.com

Natalie's Review

Donnachiara Irpinia Aglianico 2017, Campania D.O.C., Italy: Great acidity for food on this full-bodied Aglianico red wine from the Campania wine region. Ripe blackberries, cherry, meaty, savoury herb and flinty flavours finishing long on the palate. Pair with a roast leg of lamb, pork roast. Great value! Enjoy now and for the next three years. Drink: 2023-2026. 262956 13% D 750 mL  $24.95 Score: 88/100. February 21, 2020 Perfect Pasta and Tomato Sauce Wine  Full Review

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
