Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Terrific value for a wine from Montalcino that shows great typicity for the area. A hint of rust, dried cherry and leather with a dusty elegant finish. Try with a sweet potato and sage parmesan gratin. @wrightwineblog
Simon Chen rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

nice and easy drinking rosso di montalcino. 2016 is a good idea for Tuscany and this wine simply reflects the vintage. Fruity, smooth, balanced with a touch of acid and tannin on the finish. Again, another sipping wine to start the meal without the need to pair with any food.
Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

One of the nicest values in Rosso di Montalcino I've seen in a while. The nose shows hints of Brunello elements with a floral note over a solid cherry fruit and perhaps a licorice note. An old world level of fruit which will not overpower your palate. The cherry elements are in the foreground with a rose petal note and spice element on the palate. Enough acidity to pair with tomatoes, but not so much to loose your guests. I predict this one will age well for a couple of years - buy a few because you likely won't see this price for a Rosso again.

Natalie's Review

Caparzo Rosso di Montalcino 2016, Tuscany D.O.C., Italy: A smooth and silky, big-boned Brunello with juicy cherry, raspberry, earthy and meaty flavours on the palate. Vibrant acidity for food. Pair with spaghetti and meatballs. Drink: 2019-2022. 333575 13% D 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 87/100. December 16, 2019 Best Value Red Wine. Complete Cheese Pizza Wine  Full Review

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
