Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

This 1998 Urbina Reserva was released in 2018, ten years of aging! Medium garnet, there are woody and tobacco aromas from being aged in oak. The wine is well balanced with cherry fruit on the palate and soft tannins. Red meats and lamb on the menu.
Rebecca Meir-Liebman rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Rich and robust with earth and oak notes on the nose, promising complexity on the palate. Black fruit, tobacco, and some smoke and cedar on the palate, yet a good acid mouth- watering finish. An astonishing wine with a very pleasant texture, where the tannins are soft thanks to the number of years aging in the bottle. It drinks perfectly now - I love how smooth and fresh it still tastes after all these years! Grab this wine before its gone!
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

What were you doing in 1998? This has lots of vibrant ripe black fruit on the nose, as well as leather, sweet tobacco and some earthy hints. Vibrant acidity on the palate with lots of leather, tobacco and spicy notes. Lots of life in this wine still. Enjoy with marinated flank steak.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
