Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A full flavoured glass of wine that will do exceptionally well with a meal to tame its firm but ripe tannins. Plenty of sweet fruit to back up the palate to end in a long satisfying finish. Would be delicious with beef and chorizo pie @wrightwineblog
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese blend from Tuscany. Sweet fruit and mint aromas with leather and earthiness from the oak aging. Medium-bodied wine will go with savoury dishes like lamb and red meat.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

The little sibling of Super Tuscan Ornellaia, this red blend mostly Merlot with Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Young and timid now, hiding the more subtle aromas but revealing incredible concentration and potential. Ripe dark fruit and balanced oak influence with cocoa and coffee. Elegantly balanced with fresh acidity, fine and grippy tannins, and medium body. If this is the entry level offering, how good are the second and first tiers? Probably frighteningly good. Try this with bison steak with a cider and shallot reduction.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A hot, dry year has produced very concentrated dried raspberry and black cherry on the nose and palate. Silky, smooth mouthfeel with fine tannins on the finish. Well balanced. Enjoy with rich short ribs or ragu. Tasted July 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com

Tenuta dell'Ornellaia Le Volte 2017, Tuscany I.G.T., Italy: A full-bodied Sangiovese and Merlot mouthful with ripe black currant, blackberry, mint her and savoury herb flavours on the palate. Rich and juicy with concentrated fruit. Tannins are fine and dusty. Enjoy now and for the next five years. Drink: 2019-2024. 964221 14% XD 750 mL  $29.95 Score: 90/100. There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
