Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of black plum, tobacco, smoky cedar and a slight hint of violets. Full bodied with grippy tannins and bright acidity. Lots of ripe berry on the palate with more leather and smoky hints on the finish. Great value. Enjoy with roast beef.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The Chateau Timberlay 2015 is once again acclaimed by wine critics and magazines. Crafted from 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc, this right bank wine from Cotes de Bourg offers aromas of black cherry, blackberry, bay leaf, new leather, backing spice and oak. Medium body with supple tannins, Chateau Timberlay shows nice structure and harmony. Flavors of blueberry, blackberry, anise, clay pot, spice and oak. Enjoy!

Natalie's Review

Chateau Timberlay Bordeaux Superieur Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, Bordeaux A.O.C., France: The 2015 vintage in Bordeaux was outstanding, and it show in this full-bodied, elegant Bordeaux! This robust French red wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. Toasty oak and fleshy black fruit. Decant 1 hour. Pair with a rare steak. This is a steal at this price.
