Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Spicy blackberry and plum with pretty accents of violet in the bouquet. Rich dark fruit flavours, definitely on the ripe side, backed up by good tannins, a balanced medium body, and adequate acidity. Stylistically accurate while offering good value and even some cellar potential. Not bad for $17 in Ontario. Serve with Argentine steak or barbecued ribs any time over the next five years.
Ghislain Lalonde rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Secreto Patagónico Malbec 2017
?Patagonia, Argentina $19.95 (635961) 14.0% alcohol
?This punches well above its weight and is value laden. Fresh, lively aromas of charred toast, red berry fruit and sharp spice leap from the glass. It envelops the palate with stunning, balanced and beautiful flavours—ripe black Bing cherry, briary berry and mocha melding with notions of herbal notes and excellent tang. This is medium-plus bodied with generous texture and persistent purity of fruit throughout. It finishes delicious, balanced and full of flavour. Pour with rack of lamb, grilled medium rare. Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This has a complex nose that offers up initial hits of graphite and black fruit. Then the damp earth and wet hay wafts up. The graphite sits atop ample black fruit on the palate. Full-bodied and smooth with fine tannins and a long finish. Try this one with a summer charcuterie platter on the patio. Excellent value. Tasted June 2018. www.thewineloverskitchen.com

Los Haroldos Reserva Malbec 2015, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina: Love this expressive, medium-plus-bodied Malbec at a great price. Dark ruby in the glass with fragrant blue florals on the nose, rich black plum, black cherry, blueberry, meaty and smoky flavours on the palate. Enjoy now and for the next five years. Pair with bison burgers. Drink: 2019-2025. 646612 13.50% XD 750 mL  $16.95 Score: 87/100. November 26, 2021 Best Value Red Wine. Plush Pork Wine  Full Review
