Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Strong aromas of black pepper, tar, smoke, cured meat, blackberry, and black cherry. Full body of 14.5% ABV while maintaining good acidity and some decently structured tannins. In its fifth year of life and showing no signs of slowing down. Pepper steaks and grilled lamb call for a wine like this by name. All of this wrapped up in a package for under $17 in Ontario. Can it get any better? The winery donates to literacy charities and programmes. Take a leaf from their book and try this textbook Aussie red.
Ghislain Lalonde rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Fine and fresh nose, lifted and fruity, still fairly youthful even if developing some tertiary notes at this stage, this has solid flavour intensity and plenty of juicy-honest fruit. Length is also impressive in the price category. Solid stuff, nice value. Tasted June 2019. Value: ***
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Interesting dusty lilacs on the nose and a racy, candied, fruit-forward palate. A bit bitter on the medium finish. Tasted June 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
