Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Intense aromas of poached pear, apricot, and pineapple, supported by lemon, tropical fruits, slate, beeswax, and spice. Extra dry with racy and mouthwatering acidity, and even a little texture and mouthfeel. Flavours of fruit and minerality go back and forth on the well balanced palate and into the long finish. Excellent dry Riesling that will pair with sushi, seafood, chicken, and pork dishes.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely minerality on the nose with some underlying hints of tobacco. Initial hint of sweetness on the front palate quickly gives way to a tangy, textured mouthfeel. Acids are well balanced. Nice lemon and citrus on the finish. Try it with quiche or Montecristo. Tasted May 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com

Natalie's Review

Trimbach Riesling 2016, Alsace A.C., France: Trimbach Riesling is a classic Alsatian Riesling, dry and juicy with mouth-watering acidity and so perfect with grilled pork chops or veal schnitzels. Flinty and bright lemon zest on the nose, even more lemony with fresh flinty mineral flavours on the palate. The wine growing history of the Trimbach Family dates back to 1626. Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
