Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Morgon with a little age showing as the garnet red colour has a little tawny bricking at the rim. Tantalising nose of sour cherry, earthy notes, and briar. Clean and vibrant acidity, quite fresh. Light on tannins, but the little that is there grips the palate. Palate is intense with tart red fruit and mild earthy notes before rose petals join the mix on the finish. A delightful wine, exquisite and true to style, truly a stunner. Serve with coq au vin or cherry balsamic pork.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The edges are starting to show some aging. Mild smoke on the nose initially but opens to raspberries and light red fruits. Raspberry defines the palate. Smooth with a bit of dusty tannin on the finish. Drink now with lamb spiedini or tenderloin. Tasted May 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
