Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This Napa Cabernet Sauvignon blend is a deep purple, full-bodied with aromas of dark berries and plum . The oak is evident in the woodsy, earthy tastes on the palate. The tannins are still firm, so further aging for several years or a long decant is recommended. The obvious pairings are steak and rare roast beef.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Coming to you from the iconic Stag's Leap Winery this Cabernet Sauvignon is full of peppery black fruit and toasty notes along with wet leave and stones. Tannins are fine and chalky. Serve with pepper steaks. Tasted October 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com.
Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Big bold inky full. At 15.2% alcohol this is no delicate wall flower, but the Cab blended with Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cab Franc makes for a very enjoyable glass of wine. Minted chocolate, plums and black fruit and hints of green tea, this forward wine has slightly furry tannins that will allow for ageing. A long finish that just never stops. Try it with rib eye steaks with fresh chilli butter @wrightwineblog

Natalie's Review

Cliff Lede Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, Stags Leap District, Napa Valley, California, United States: Cliff Lede's Stags Leap District is a robust California red wine blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Look for ripe, smoky dark plum, sweet tobacco leaf and cherry liqueur flavours full on the palate. Tannins are firm and grippy. Enjoy now and decant two hours prior to pouring with a well-marbled rib steak. Can easily cellar for another 10 years. Drink: 2019-2033. 14217 15% XD 750 mL  $124.95 Score: 90/100.
