Inky and opaque, this Petite Sirah has a pronounced nose of meaty pepper and plum. The dark fruits carry over to the palate. It is smooth with mature tannins and good balance. Lush and spicy it makes an interesting alternative to the more ubiquitous Syrahs and Cab Sauvs. Pair with things cooked long and slow - stews, osso bucco, ribs. Tasted April 2019.

Deep purple in colour, pronounce intensity nose, dry, medium plus acidity and tannin, full bodied. The wine spent 10 months in oak, with 30% new. Lovely dark fruit aromas of plum and blackberry with vanilla. Definite tastes of blackberry and plum with sweet spice and vanilla with some cedar. I felt wine was "grippy". Very pleasant.
