Martin Geleynse rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Deep garnet in color, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Archimedes offers pronounced cassis, crushed blueberries and cedar notes with hints of bay leaves, eucalyptus and chocolate box. Medium-bodied, the palate leads with a firm structure of chewy tannins and just enough acidity, supporting tightly wound, muscular fruit and finishing taut yet promising. I've been conservative with my scoring, given that it is still very youthful and relatively ungiving on the palate. I suggest giving it 2-4 years in bottle and plan to drink it over the next 20+ years. Drink Date: 2019-2041. Score - 92+. (Lisa Perrotti-Brown, MW, robertparker.com, April 28, 2017)
Wineboy rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Do you get more pleasure from the bouquet of a wine or it's flavours on the palate? If the bouquet is your answer then this may be the wine for you. Hugely complex with cassis and herbs dominating the nose. In exchange for such complex aromas one must trade off some power with this wine resulting in a medium weight beauty. Four years old and still has plenty of tannin for aging. I suggest 2 more years from now.

Natalie's Review

Archimedes Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, California, United States: Produced by Francis Ford Coppola, Archimedes 2014 is a medium-plus-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon from the Alexander Valley with liquid blueberries, cedar brush, savoury spice and dark chocolate flavours on the palate. Still young, this wine would benefit from some time in cellar. The wine is named after the Greek mathematician Archimedes who nearly 2,000 years ago established the laws of physics. Archimedes' principle, a law of physics, indicates that the upward buoyant force that is exerted on a body immersed in a fluid is equal to the weight of the fluid that the body displaces. But does that mean we get more wine? Drink: 2018-2027. 431825 14.50% D 750 mL  $79.95 Score: 91/100. November 7, 2018 Top Rated Red Wine. Best Beef Wine  Full Review
