Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Deep purple colour straight to the edge. The bouquet is bursting beautifully with blackberries, blueberries, dark plums, toasted vanilla bean and sweet smoke. A light hint of anise also noted. Flavours are precisely pronounced with blackcurrants, raspberry compote and dried figs. Dry spices are also apparent- like a homemade coriander and pepper rub for a barbecued pork. Which - is also an ideal pairing for this stately Syrah. Needs to open up a little bit before enjoying. Decant 2-4 hrs. 90 Points - Tasted July 2018
Melanie Lloyd rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

On the nose, there are aromas of dark fruit, violet, subtle wood notes, and hints of vanilla. There are also hints of sharp cheese but not in a negative way. It just adds to the complexity of this wine.

On the palate, we have blueberries and blackcurrant, wood notes, and a bit of smoke. It is a fuller bodied wine with velvety tannins. It would pair well with a barbecued steak.

Tasted July 2018
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of red fruit, plum, slightly underripe strawberry, and an interesting briny, savoury note. Dry, with some astringent tannins, and medium acidity. Fruit is tart and vibrant on the palate with a lengthy finish. Enjoy with charcuterie and aged cheeses.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Smoky stewed plum aromas with a sour plum note on the palate that leads into a dried fruit finish. Tasted July 2018.
Simon Chen rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A unique wine from a Mediterranean island that's part of the France. 100% syrah, the warm weather offers interesting smoky, meaty aromas to the wine. On the palate, it has a bit of an unpleasant plum sourness but it finishes with beautiful tea-like dryness and soft tannin.

M Xx270 Syrah 2015, Corsica, France: Still quite tannic and tight, so put this one in the cellar for another few years then decant 2 hours and pair with a rare steak. Aromas of black fruit, tar, smoke and toasty oak. Drink: 2018-2024. 571778 13.50% D 750 mL  $25.95 Score: 94/100. July 5, 2019 Top Rated Red Wine.  Full Review
