Shows soft tropical fruit and green grassy notes on nose, with pineapple, citrus and herbal elements on the palate with crisp acidity and bright citrus finish.
Enjoy with shellfish and summer salads.

Porcupine Ridge Sauvignon Blanc 2017, Western Cape W.O., South Africa: The crested porcupine featured on the front label is common in South Africa. They are noisy animals that move with a ponderous gait with lots of sniffing and grunting, eating mostly potatoes and root vegetables. They are also nocturnal and shy, and many live in the vineyards of this winery. In 1776, the South African winery Boekenhoutskloof was founded and has since become one of the most known producers in the country. Stunningly good price. South Africa does so well with Sauvignon Blanc, and it shows in this wine. Grassy, nettle, herbal refreshment with a medium-bodied weight. Lots of mouth-watering acidity. Pair with vegetarian dishes, seafood and grilled Portobello mushroom. Drink: 2018-2020. 126797 12.50% XD 750 mL $15.95 Score: 87/100. July 3, 2018 Venerated Vegetarian Wine Full Review
