Elizabeth Vickers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Uncorked at the year end Men's Golf dinner on Nov 2nd.
Not a bad bottle of Cab Sav but hard to value given the setting.
Enjoyed with the stuffed pork tenderloin. Oh well...
Wineboy rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A full fruit driven wine where oak takes a back seat. Another person described the wine as somewhat Bordeaux-like and I agree in terms of power, but in terms of the level of fruit is it clearly new world. A pleasure to taste.

Natalie's Review

Jim Barry The Cover Drive Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Coonawarra, South Australia, Australia: The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this robust Australian red wine were grown on the Coonawarra Terra Rossa "Cigar Strip" in the heart of the Coonawarra wine region in South Australia. This layer of rich, red stone over limestone produces the vibrant red and dark fruit character in this wine. Juicy, full-bodied and delicious! Fleshy ripe blackberry and black cherries lead on the nose of this robust red wine. Good layering and complexity. This is classic cool-climate Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon offering dark spice and racy acidity on the finish with deep and satisfying hint of mint refreshment. Cabernet Sauvignon thrives in Coonawarra with its limestone soils, cooling ocean winds and warm days. Straight-up pleasure! Try it with a juicy steak tonight. Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
