Deborah Podurgiel rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Love the spice raspberry, dark chocolate and smoky vanilla aromas on this full-bodied Meritage blend from Kettle Valley Winery. On the palate, Old Main Red 2014 is dry with fresh acidity to match spiced plum, liquid raspberry, nutmeg and smooth vanilla flavours and a medium-plus-finish smooth on the palate. Lovely now. Enjoy with a grilled flat iron steak. Tasted December 2019.
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Just a beautiful blend! Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, blended with a small percentage of Petit Verdot and Malbec. Lush and fruit forward on the palate, lots of dark berry and currant on the nose, mingled with some smoke and spice, even a bit of eucalyptus. Full bodied, smooth tannin and ripe, full flavoured fruit come through on the palate. Delicious! Perfect for your next steak night.

Kettle Valley Winery, Ltd. Old Main Red 2014, Naramata, British Columbia BC VQA, Canada: A terrific BC red wine robust blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec grapes. The fruit is grown mostly in the Old Main Vineyard with Petit Verdot and Malbec grown in the King Drive vineyard. The wine is matured in French oak for 22 months before to bottling. Aromas of ripe cassis, blackberry, plum and dark spice. Long finish. Decant 1 hour and pair with steak. Drink: 2018-2022. 14.50% XD 750 mL  $45.00 Score: 93/100. There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
