Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted June 5th, 2018. Colour dark purple. Legs thick. Aromas and flavours of blueberry, black raspberry, sugar plum, baking spices. Taste dry plus, black fruit, oak, full bodied mouthfeel. Nice structured tannin. Mouthwatering. The wine has a long finish of dark fruit and oak flavours. I like this wine. Great value and easy to drink. Will pair nice with BBQ meats. Red wine lovers will like this wine.
Ghislain Lalonde rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Sara d'Amato
A richly textured and rather firm malbec with a notable vein of acidity. Very concentrated at this point and best with another year or two in bottle or a lengthy decant. Tannins aren't exactly drying due to their ripeness but they do make a textural impact on the palate. Oak is well integrated and flavours do not feature in any substantial way on the palate. Very good length. Tasted May 2018

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
