Susana Balbo is Argentina’s 1st female winemaker and Susana approaches Argentina’s signature white varietal with style. This 100% Torrontes wine contains fruit from both the Cafayete and Uco Valley regions – combining the grapes from different regions allows Susan to take advantage of the expressions that result from varying altitudes. The result is a highly aromatic white with intense notes of floral orange blossom, green grapes, peach, apple, lime zest and grapefruit. Having undergone 3 months of sur-lie resting helps add a bit of body, however it remains light and crisp. Enjoy with seared white fish.

Argentinean Torrontés is such a beautiful wine, and this is the quintessential expression. Very floral, aromatic, and tropical fruit notes, with some sprtizy effervescence.
If you like any Sauvignon Blanc, give this gem a try!

Floral on the nose with rose aromas, grapefruit, clementine, and mineral notes. The grapefruit, floral, and clementine notes follow through on the palate. It is medium-bodied, dry and fresh with just a touch of bitterness at the finish. A very nice Torrontés at an excellent price!
Pair with sushi or mild curries.

Refreshing, crisp, mouthwatering acidity. Lime zest, rose petal, uncut chives. Light bodied, alcohol integrating nicely. Pairs well with seafood risotto, shrimp stir fry over rice and easily enjoyable on its own. Crowd pleasing and accessibly priced. Tasted 2017 vintage in May 2018. 89 points

Torrontes or Torrontes Riojano is one of my favourite white varietals and Argentina is the main, if not only, country where it's cultivated (although I've had Torrontel wine in Peru). Torrontes Riojano is a cross between Muscat of Alexandria and Criolla Chica (Mission) grapes. An aromatic, medium boded but dry wine, the aromas and flavours are floral, peach, pear with a dash of lime. I used this in, and paired it with, mushroom and spinach risotto. The result was delicious.A great value wine perfect for a spring party.
