Jon Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Crowd pleasing, approachable, accessibly priced. Amazing value. Slight effervescence on the palate, crisp and clean. Almost water-like weight in the mouth. Beautiful tropical fruit aromatics and on the palate. Medium finish with persistence of citrus zest. Light bodied. Pairs well with lightly pan fried white fish, lemon chicken, Asian fusion, sushi, goat cheese topped summer salads, and easily enjoyable on its own. This is a buy by the case kind of wine for patio season. Tasted 2016 vintage in March 2018. 90 points @BespokeTastings
Monique Sosa reviewed this wine as follows:

Mild aromas but bursting with mandarin orange, ripe peach and lemon flavours. It pours with slight effervescence and perfect for patio sipping. It’s light bodied with low alcohol and a clean crisp finish. Enjoy with picante baja fish tacos. Tasted March 2018 by @sommsosa

Natalie's Review

Alianca 2016, Vinho Verde D.O.C., Portugal: A crisp white with incredible mouth-watering acidity. The acidic attack on the palate offers notes of white grapefruit and lime zest. This refreshing white cries out for food such as fresh seafood. Drink: 2016-2018. 75663 10% XD 750 mL  $8.90 Score: 85/100. March 17, 2018 Best Value White Wine. Great Goat Cheese Wine  Full Review

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
