This is all muscle and strength, with tarry blackberry, black cherry, warm spice, pyrazine, black raspberry, and well-integrated oak. 95 points.
Keith O'Hagan Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Clean, Deep ruby core
Nose; rich black fruit, vanilla,
Palate; smooth rich black fruit that morphs to layers of velvety tannin
Overall: This is what California Cab should aspire to
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Beautiful nose of toasty oak and ripe red fruit. Tastes of cherry with soft tannins. Would pair well with steak, prime rib or sipping on a Friday night.

Pricey at $35, but is delicious! Would make a great gift or to bring at your next dinner party for a California CabSauv lover (*hint hint to friends reading this review!*)

Monique Sosa reviewed this wine as follows:

A divine, delicious and downright benchmark embodiment of Napa Cabernet Sauvignons. The aromas and flavours showcase beautiful layers of black cherry, cassis, anise, leather, sweetened tobacco and hints of savoury dried sage notes. The mouthfeel is absolutely lavish. Tannins, acidity, flavours, and alcohol are beautifully balanced. Enjoy this stellar Napa red with prime rib. Tasted March 2018 by @sommsosa
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Beautiful Cali Cab. Well integrated, well balanced. Savoury, ripe red fruit, medium plus fine tannins. Pairs well with a blue cheese topped filet mignon. Tasted 2013 vintage in March 2018. 92 points
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A big wine that's just asking for a steak. Lots of black fruit on the nose, along with some tobacco, dried herbs, a hint of eucalyptus and some campfire smoke. Lots of grippy tannin balanced with ripe, deep fruit and smoky flavours on the palate as well. As mentioned, this would be perfect with steak or prime rib.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

From the legendary wine maker, Robert Mondavi, the Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, shows an elegant deep color and offers amazing aromas of ripe plum, blackberry, tobacco, a touch of black pepper and fern. It has a smooth and silky feel with tastes of warm plum, blackberry, tobacco, thick cigar smoke and oak. Its coating effect is caused in part by its big body, but is forgiven by its lovely flavors. This wine can be sipped on its own by a cozy fire with jazz music, or anything else.

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautiful dark purple colour. Big legs - 14.5% alcohol. Dark berries, black cherry and menthol. Smooth tannins and ripe fruit flavours. Long fruit finish. Tasted March 11, 2018.
Lynn van der Linde rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Beautifully Quintessential Napa Cabernet Sauvignon that turns your teeth purple, and so worth it!
Aromas of blackberries, eucalyptus and leather transform to a very persistent peppery mouthfeel. Enjoy now or cellar for another 2-5 years.
Tasted March 2018.
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A really well balanced wine from a good year. Good concentration and good yields mean this wine had every chance to succeed. Other than that, it seems unnecessary to introduce Mondavi, who are the undisputed masters of their domain.
Glass-saturating ruby, with a purple edge.
The aromas of warm plum, cassis, dried currant, and chocolate.
More flavours of warm spice, dried berry, fresh cassis and currant, and only just lending itself over to jamminess.
Keep it for a decade or put it with coffee rubbed t-bones.
Simon Chen rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

I'm glad to see that Mondavi is still keeping the old-napa style. Not super oaky and vanilla. Black fruits, big firm tannin. Definitely, a wine that can age for 10+ years and cannot go wrong.

Decant for 2-3 hours if you want to open now
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A huge Californian offering good for the winter.…
Presentation: The classic Robert Mondavi label, although we find it somewhat subdued. The printed texture offers a touch of class
Appearance: Deep purple
Nose: Pronounced nose of ripe, dark plums, ink, graphite, cigar box, and violets
Taste: Full body, high acidity, drying, dirty tannins, pronounced dark fruit (blackberries, plums, cherries), ink, graphite, and tobacco
Finish: long, bitter, graphite finish
Overall impression: A huge Californian wine, with a nice nose. You need to pair this with flavourful foods, such as BBQ’d meats or rich stews.
Value: 3.5/5
Nicole Lewis rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

So rich, the nose is assailed by ripe cherries, blackberry, cigar box, stewed fruit and a suggestion of cedar and these flavours are replayed on the palate along with a full-bodied mouthfeel and moderate acidity. This Cali Cab is on the verge of opacity and would pair with a assortment of cheese or fine meat dishes. I'd love this with medium-rare bison steak.

Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Black fruit and cassis on the nose with blackberry, plum and cassis notes on the palate. Finishes with some spice and slightly chewy tannin. Tasted March 2018.
Eamonn Donnelly reviewed this wine as follows:

Pours deep ruby in the glass. Classic Cali Cabernet aromas - ultra ripe black fruit, black currant, plum/prune with jammy cassis notes. Oak is nicely integrated, more sweet tobacco, nutmeg and sandalwood. Slightly floral, hints of violet, with some delicate minty notes. Continuously developing as it sits in the glass.

Big, rich and full bodied. Nicely textured - lots of grippy tannin. Wine is developing nicely but would benefit from time in a decanter.
Luc Delorme rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Subtle on the nose for a California Cab, this wine opens up with aromas of dark fruit and smoke. The dark fruit, smoke and spice are far bolder on the palate, with a significant tannic presence and refreshing acidity.

Complex, yet very drinkable, this Californian would go be a great pairing for prime rib or chateaubriand.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Cabernet Franc with an equal accompanying mix of 2% Malbec, Petit Verdot and Merlot. Dark and inky with a pronounced, evolving bouquet: cassis, brambleberry, vanilla, tobacco and rich stewed black and blue fruit. Flavours show dark plum, prune, and soft leather with soft, stemmy cedar. Medium acidity, full body with well integrated tannins. Drink now or hold for further ageing. Pair with full cheeses and roasted lamb. 92 points - Tasted February 2018
