Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Jackson Trigg's chief winemaker, the talented Marco Piccoli, even on mediocre years crafts delicious wines in their Grand Reserve tier. On good years, like 2015, the wines become intense and jawdropping. This is the Niagara estate's premier red blend, which is usually Cabernet dominated (Franc and Sauv).
Pretty and deep ruby red.
Aromas of fleshy cherries, smoke, plum, tinder and ash. JT usually ises a combo of French and American. One of the few producers the use them seamlessly.
Flavpurs of coffee, vanilla, cherry compote, cassis, and cranberry off the nose.
This wine is consostently produced almost every single vintage, so it is really a fun one to follow as it is an eyepiece into the strengths and weaknesses of certain vintages. Good value too!
2015 has an earlier drinking window to the also stellar 2016 vintage. This wine is concentrated and delicious. It should keep around 5-7 years.

Natalie's Review

Jackson-Triggs Grand Reserve Meritage 2015, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: Wow, what a spectacular red wine blend of Cabernet and Merlot grapes! This Niagara producer has made the most of the amazing 2015 vintage. Complex, concentrated, rich and satisfying with a long finish. Loaded with dark fruit and smoke. Highly recommended.
