Jon Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A wonderful Shiraz vintage from the heart of the infamous Australian Barossa valley. The label carries a story worthy of being told about how Peter Lehmann started the business with borrowed grapes under a promise to pay the growers in the future. It sold and the growers were paid, resulting in a word is bond understanding with a foundation of loyalty and a commitment by local growers to producing the best grapes possible. This vintage shows deep purple and 14.5% ABV. Inky, densely concentrated and intense, this wine is rich showing floral notes on the nose with blackberry, blackcurrant, spice, and full-bodied with big dusty tannins. A great pairing with braised or BBQ meats. Tasted the 2014 vintage in Dec 2017. 90 points

Natalie's Review

Peter Lehmann Wines Futures Shiraz 2014, Barossa, South Australia, Australia: This truly shows the pedigree of the Barossa region. The grapes come from de-classified Stonewell parcels (the flagship wine), so this is a steal at $30. The wine is aged 30% in new French oak barrels for 14-16 months. More than 120 different parcels of grapes go into this wine. It's supple and beautifully nuanced, yet has full-bodied richness. Drink: 2016-2023. 301309 14% D 750 mL  $27.00 Score: 93/100. There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
