Alana L rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

At the Ritz-Carlton Hotel today with my two adorable god-daughters for High Tea in the Palm Court. The Afternoon Tea experience has been a tradition at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal since 1912 and I adore the ‘oh so British’ mix of teas, homemade sandwiches, scones with cream and the amazing pastries made by Claude Guérin (who was named Canada’s Best Pastry Chef in 2018). A tradition that I plan on continuing for many years with these two princesses.

In my glass - tea shall come later - a glass of Ruinart Brut Champagne to match the history of this hotel and tea experience (Ruinart is considered the oldest and very first champagne house and was founded 290 years ago). Medium-bodied, classic and elegant, straw yellow in colour it has, in my book, the perfect expression of bubbles in the glass: fine and persistent. On the nose there are fruit and floral notes and it’s palate has good depth of flavour, lively acidity with just enough creaminess and notes of butter, brioche and citrus.
Sara d’Amato called it ‘memorable’ and rated it 93 on WineAlign last year and Wine Enthusiast rates it 90. No argument here! Cheers friends ?? ??!
Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Excellently delicious and excellent value. Toasted nuts and freshly baked biscuits with creamy lemons and a touch of preserved lemon at the end. A lifted acidity that keeps this wine refreshing on the palate, despite its serious weight in the mouth. A distinguished style of Champagne, not a quaffer. Try with mussels in a ginger and lemongrass broth. @wrightwineblog
Melanie Lloyd rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This Champagne has aromas of baked apple, freshly baked bread, shortbread cookies, and some mineral notes. In terms of flavours, there is lemon, buttery croissant, a wonderful crispness and a slight bitter finish. So delicious!

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Ruinart is well known for being one of the oldest extant Champagne houses stil in operation. This is there non-vintage, but by no means is it simple. It's Chardonnay and Pinot Noir aged for three years on its lees.
Great persistence to the bubbles. Deep yellow colour already. That probably indicates it has quite a bit of older reserve wines in it already.
Aromas of funky, smokey lees jump out at you. Afterwards, you get some nice pineapple, lanolin, dried apple, nectarine, and blackberry.
The flavours combine fresh flavours of younger wine; tart green apple, apricot, pineapple, and nectarine. There are also some characteristics of older wine. Honey, pistachio, ginger, and subtle rancio.
This is a suave and tasty wine for holiday fare: chestnuts, turkey, cranberries, gingerbread, glazed ham. Cool wine from a great and historic house.
