Raspberry overload with mild baking spice notes. A simple crowd-pleasing fruit-forward Pinot Noir with juicy (high) acidity and a long sweet cherry finish. Enjoy with pibil pork tacos. Tasted Nov 2017 by @sommsosa | bepoketastings.ca

Aromas of cherry, raspberry and hint of violet. More cherry in the mouth along with plum, sweet spice and cedar which continue through to the lasting finish. Quite a nice wine. Would probably age well for another few years. Pair with roast lamb Tasted Nov. 2017

it's a more new world pinot noir. Bright red fruits, nice fruits on the palate. I was hoping for more acidity for a new zealand pinot

Ruby in colour with aromas of cherry, chocolate, raspberry and earth. It is medium-bodied with flavours of tart cherry and ripe raspberry with a short cherry finish. This will pair well with salmon or chicken. Tasted on November 19, 2017.

Fragrant tart cherry, cola and bitter chocolate on the nose, repeated on the mouth-watering palate. Great acidity makes this medium-bodied Pinot extremely versatile with a variety of dishes, from roast duck, turkey to grilled salmon.

92/100 with the following review:
Nice nose. A bit less "juicy fruity" than typical for NZ PN, but I'm absolutely OK with that. Correct power, new world ripeness, with a bit softer acidity than a Burgundian PN might have.

sparsely medium ruby colour with white rim. Aroma of freshly fallen wet autumn leaves, firm dark cherries, and oak. Warm mouthfeel, medium acidity, dry medium to low tannins, with a short red cherry finish. Score 90. (S.Segard, reviewed Nov. 19, 2017)

Pale ruby with ripe strawberry, raspberry, lush fruit and a touch of earthiness. These are reflected perfectly on the palate with the addition of a little spicy smoked paprika heat. Medium plus acidity, light body with soft tannins. Fruity and spicy with a clean finish. Pair with trout amandine and quinoa salad.

Whitehaven Pinot Noir 2013, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: This medium-bodied New Zealand red wine is satin smooth and tickles the senses. Juicy, fleshy bright cherries and dark chocolate dance across your senses with this pinot noir. Ultra-supple and sensuous. Amazingly great price for a flagship wine. Cloudy Bay put New Zealand on the wine map for its Sauvignon Blanc, but this Pinot Noir holds its own and deserves its own shining place in the wine world. Please make me some seared tuna and top up my glass. Pinot noir is New Zealand's benchmark red wine and it shows why in this wine. Highly recommended.
