Poached apple aromas, loads of minerality, and hints of wood, vanilla, and almond. Round and creamy on the palate with apple flavours and a bitter nutty finish. Pair with smoky cheese.

Beautiful wine to pair with fish.
A very balanced, not overly oaky Chardonnay.
Pineapple and candied banana aromas with hints of toasted almonds carry through on the palate with luxurious mouth and a zesty lime finish.
Perfect with salmon or tuna steaks.
Tasted February 2018.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Pale lemon colour with aromas of banana, apricot, smoke, super ripe peaches, golden delicious apple with a touch of light soft caramel. Flavours are full and prominently feature pear, stone fruit, creme brulee and toasted cashews. Also a very faint but featured bit of brioche. A nice creamy texture with medium plus acidity, medium body and finish. Pair with creamy shrimp risotto or saucy chicken supreme. 90 points - tasted November 19, 2017
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lots of honey with tropical fruit and buttery. Medium-bodied feel on the mouth. Moderate oak and a long finish. Would pair well with cornish hen, oven-based chicken breasts or bring at your next Turkey-based holiday gathering.

Medium weight for Canadian Chardonnay. More fruit than oak on the palate. Perfectly crafted, perfect price.

An intense straw yellow Ontario Chardonnay, from the respected Speck family offers aromas of pineapple, white peach and toasted marshmellow. The mouth is greeted with a smooth feel and medium to full bodied wine sporting moderate acidity. This chard exhibits flavours of pineapple, white peach and vanilla. Nice price point for the quality.

A yummy value-priced toasty, buttery and fruity Chardonnay. Top flavours include vanilla bean, apple, citrus, and melon. The palate showcases a juicy mouthfeel with a crisp finish. Enjoy with roasted chicken and harvest root veggies. Tasted Nov 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca

Beautiful, full bodied. Great balance. Medium oak, yielding soft and creamy mouthfeel. Mouthwatering medium plus acidity. Tangy blood orange, vanilla bean, savoury and a hint of lime zest. Pairs well with Chinese take out egg rolls, lemon chicken, traditional roast chicken dinner, fried noodles. Also drinking well on its own. Tasted 2016 vintage in Nov 2017. 90 points.
