Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine has evolved and continues to breathe youthful life. Gorgeous aromas and flavours of briars, plum and morello cherry, along with garrigue and purple flowers. A hint of hoisin sauce and fig paste on the mid palate. There’s some graphite and loam on the finish. 90 Points.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A lovely Southern Rhone red from Fontaine du Clos that is medium bodied and fruity. A blend of Grenache and Shiraz with aromas and flavors of cherries, plum, licorice, mineral with a hint of gaminess and earth on the mid palate. Wonderfully complex with a lengthy finish. Tasted November 2017.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Pale ruby colour and quite expressive. Enveloping aromas of soft light red plum, strawberry cream, sweet and zesty spices chocolate covered cherries and a touch of earthy fresh forest on the palate bright red fruits, underripe raspberry, tart cherry, tobacco and cigar box. Also an earthy dried herbal note of bay leaves, sage and dried rosemary with elements of freshly lit cigar specimens on the tongue. High acidity and tannins with a long finish. However the depth of this is lighter. Expressive. Pair with smoked ribs, applewood smoked cheddar, and lamb. 90 points - tasted November 2017

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
