Craig Haynes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Devotees of tropical and stone fruit focused wines will enjoy the 2016 Grand Reserve offering from veteran producer Jackson-Triggs. Crafted from vines in Ontario’s Niagara Peninsula appellation, this strikingly pale copper coloured pinot grigio presented pronounced stone fruit aromas accentuated with notes of creamy honey and slate. Mouthwatering, rich and vibrant, this wine’s medium bodied palate showcased layers of tropical and introduced a long fruit filled finish. Enjoy.

Matt Steeves rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Jackson-Triggs' inaugural vintage (2016) of their Grand Reserve Pinot Grigio shows that they've got a great thing going with this premium Pinot Grigio. An intriguing colour of faint copper with a pink hue immediately catches the eye, followed by a gorgeous and very fragrant bouquet of sweet stone fruit, floral blossoms, and wildflower honey on the nose. The palate is crisp and refreshing, with noticeable weight and a slight creaminess that shows up on the mid-palate soon to be carried away by a textured citrus fruit finish. A great effort from Jackson-Triggs and certainly will be ideal with creamy seafood dishes, Autumn harvest meals, or duck breast with a pomegranate-citrus glaze. Tasted October 2017. 88-89 points.
