Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A well refined red wine from Cotes du Rhone - the nose is alluring - hints of violet, cherry, licorice and earth - the flavors on the palate are well balanced showing ripe, dark fruit, earth, oak and a slight gaminess. Great value at just under $20.
Colin McKone rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Cote du Rhone is dark ruby in colour with aromas of black cherry, strawberry, raspberry and plum with light spice with the aromas repeating on the palate. It is dry and smooth drinking, full bodied with well balanced tannins. This will pair well with grilled pork, red meats and medium cheeses. Tasted on October 1, 2017.

Natalie's Review

Ortas Tradition Rasteau 2015, Rhône A.C., France: Full-bodied and meaty with savoury, fleshy black fruit and smoke. Nice price. Established in 1925, the Cave de Rasteau is one of the oldest wineries in the Rhone Valley. Finishes with dark spices and black fruit. Pair with grilled pork chops. The classic GSM blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre, and Syrah is at play here, with Syrah taking a more prominent role than in the past. Drink: 2017-2020. 998716 14% D 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 89/100. Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
