Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A beautiful and well presented Chianti - aromoas of black fruit, blueberry, spice, licorice and earth - the palate exhibits refined flavors of tart cherry, earth and dried herbs. Perfect with homemade eggplant parmesan.
Melanie Lloyd rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This medium bodied wine has red berry and plum aromas, as well as autumn leaves, sweet spice and a touch of pepper. On the palate, there’s sour cherry tartness, a hint of cinnamon and velvety tannins.

Pair with a tomato based stew.

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Chianti Rufina used to be an obscure subregion of Chianti wine geeks used to flock to for conentrated fruity deliciousness. Unfortunately, the word is out and these wines are rarer than ever because of demand.
This wine from Nipozzano is a particularly concentrated and flavourful example.
Deep purple, with a ruby rim.
Aromatics of underbrush, blueberry, and currant. Smokey oak on the finish.
The flavour profile of this wine is extremely fresh and juicy. It already has some age under its belt, but you would never know it at this stage.
More concentrated blueberry, truffle, currant, and maybe a touch of volatile acidity. Yum!
Chianto Rufina, the region, shouldn't be confused with Ruffino, the iconic producer of Chianti.
Put this wine with some Tuscan rabbit, with stewed veggies.

Natalie's Review

Nipozzano Vecchie Viti Riserva Chianti Rúfina 2013, Tuscany D.O.C.G., Italy: A juicy, robust, vibrant Chianti Reserva that's ready for more cellar aging: it has lots of potential, yet it's also ready to drink now. Aromas of black fruit, tar and smoke. The 2013 vintage was solid. The grapes for this wine come from the oldest vines on the Nipozzano estate, and the wine is aged for 24 months in oak barrels, according to ancient Tuscan tradition. Decant 1-2 hours. Pair with gourmet pizza. Drink: 2017-2024. 395186 13.50% XD 750 mL  $29.95 Score: 92/100. October 6, 2018 Top Rated Red Wine. Voluptuous Veal Wine  Full Review
