Many threads of aromatics with this medium plus bodied red. Dry, medium alcohol,medium tannins , dark cherry, dark chocolate, smoked almond. Pairs with bbq chicken brochettes. Tasted 2015 vintage in May 2018 87 points

Ruby in colour and as the name implies teaming with coffee aromas along with notes of dark chocolate, blackberry, raspberry, plum, black cherry and smoke. It is full bodied and well balanced with flavours of plum, dark berries and a hint of coco. This will pair nicely with BBQ ribs or hamburgers. Tasted on January 5, 2018.

Fun! Lol not much guesswork in figuring out what the aromas capture here, true to its intention it delivers. Medium ruby colour with plum, cherry, smoke, chocolate and yes, coffee! There is also a cherry candy note in here too with a hint of eucalyptus. Flavours of tart cherries, cranberries, raspberries, spices and smokey fruit. High acidity and medium minues body, tannins and finish. Lots of plum and cherry. Fruity and smokey. Pair with curry dishes, blackened fish, tortiere and smoked sausage. 87 points

Freshly brewed coffee is brimming out of the glass - the signature South African grape - Pinotage (a cross between Cinsault and Pinot Noir) - the palate is full bodied with some cherry and dark chocolate noted - perfect with your next meal of juicy ribs.

The Grinder Pinotage 2015, Western Cape W.O., South Africa: Roasted coffee beans dipped in dark chocolate on the nose, espresso on the palate with smoky notes. This full-bodied, delicious red wine is made from South Africa's signature (and quite distinctive) Pinotage grape, a cross between Cinsault and Pinot Noir. This wine is dry, but it finishes with delicious flavours of dark chocolate. Pair it with grilled meats, especially grilled lamb. Drink: 2015-2018. 572107 14% D 750 mL $13.95 Score: 88/100.
