Neil Phillips rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Complex nose of plums with a decidedly earthy note, plus menthol, cedar, anise, baking spices.

Black fruits predominate on the palate, with a long chalky finish. Savoury spice notes throughout. Slight burn to finish.

Tasted October 2018.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A delicious jammy, complex, full-bodied Zinfandel. Well-structured and well balanced concentrated black fruit, silky smooth tannins, and juicy integrated acidity. For an out of this world pairing, enjoy with spicy Thai green curried meatballs braised in coconut milk. Tasted Sept 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Incredibly ripe and rich Zinfandel from Paso Robles. Aged 16 months in oak. Medium ruby colour with pronounced aromas of the dark plum, blueberry, raspberry syrup, chocolate, dried fruit, smoke, cinnamon, clove, liquorice and cassis. Hints of pepper and cooked, jammy fruit as well. Multilayered and complex. Flavours are enlivened with: plum, lots of cooked fruit, chocolate, spice, clove, cooked berries and pie filling with toasty vanilla. Concentrated and jammy. Medium acidity with medium body and tannin. Delicious and dry, with a long finish. Pair with hearty meats, stews and sloppy joe’s. 90 points
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Jammy dark fruit, cloves, cola, cassis and dark chocolate, so divine! Layer by layer this wine is remarkably sexy, showing great depth and complexity. Perfect with anything hearty grilled on the BBQ.
